  • HOMEGROWN

    Nicole was raised in Woodbury, graduated from Woodbury H.S. and later the University of Minnesota. She moved back home to Woodbury to raise her family and is deeply committed to ensuring our community is a great place to live.

  • VETERAN

    Nicole is a third-generation military member who retired in 2024 with over 32 years of service to her name. She serve as a Commander in the National Guard, and spent 16 of her service years as a Hurricane Hunter, flying into deadly storms to collect critical data. As a veteran herself, Nicole is committed to ensuring our veterans get the support they deserve, including access to quality healthcare.*

    “My mother, stepfather, and both of my grandfathers served. Serving my country has given me the opportunity to help keep our citizens safe, and as a Commander, I ensured an inclusive environment where servicemembers can grow in their careers.”

  • SCIENTIST

    Nicole has spent years studying and educating others about climate change in her role as a professional meteorologist. Nicole grew up hiking and camping throughout Minnesota, and she is passionate about protecting our environment – especially our water resources.

    “Minnesota is one of the most beautiful states in the country, and we value the natural splendor of the state, including our water resources. But, if the past year taught us anything, from devastating droughts to historic December tornadoes, the time is now to address climate change.”

  • MOTHER

    Nicole is a single mother with two child in District 833. She strongly believes in quality, fully funded public education and safe schools. And because she understands the majority of brain development occurs before age 3, Nicole is a strong supporter of Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), which helps to ensure every child gets off to a strong, healthy start.

  • FOSTER PARENT

    Nicole spent 8 years as a licensed Washington Conty foster parent, including caring and advocating for special needs children.

    ”Every child deserves equal access to quality education. That’s why I will fight to fully fund our public schools.”

  • ADVOCATE

    Nicole helped create and teach a Diversity and Inclusion program within the military. She believes everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, and she is committed to working toward a more just and equitable Minnesota.

  • VOLUNTEER

    Committed to providing a hand-up to people in times of need, Nicole is active in the Woodbury community and has volunteered for a variety of organizations, ranging from a women's shelter and homeless shelter, to working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). She currently volunteers at Open Cupboard foodshelf in Oakdale.

  • ELECTION JUDGE

    Nicole has served as a Washington County election judge since 2018, often being assigned head-judge and running polling locations. She will fight to maintain free and fair elections in Minnesota.

  • LEGAL EXPERIENCE

    Nicole is a member of the Minnesota Bar and has experience drafting and advancing legislation. She has served as a volunteer attorney with “Wills for Heroes," providing free wills for first responders.
